Only one and a half miles from Holiday Island's full service marina where pontoon, fishing, and ski boats may be rented. For the guest with exercise in mind, Leatherwood Drive is a great country street for refreshing early morning or late evening walks.
We are located in Holiday Island in the heart of the Ozark Mountains on Table Rock Lake, which has 900 miles of shoreline. Branson Missouri and Silver Dollar City are within an easy hour's drive, and downtown Historic Eureka Springs and The Great Passion Play are less than a ten minute drive. Holiday Island is a great place for family reunions!
Holiday Island has two premier golf courses. A nine-hole course on the Island and an 18-hole course.

All rental properties have fully equipped kitchens with dishes, pots, pans, etc. Each property is provided with blankets, linens, towels, coffee filters, first morning coffee, paper towels, tissues, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, and bath soap. Some items you will need to provide: shampoo, all food and beverages. During the fall and winter (Oct 1st-March 31st), properties with fireplaces may burn fire logs. No wood is allowed to be used in the fireplaces. Guests must provide their own fire logs.
PETS or UNREGISTERED GUESTS:
VACATION RENTAL PROPERTIES: Pets are allowed in some of the rental properties with approval prior to arrival. A $25 pet cleaning fee will be applied for the entire stay. Approved pets (pet policy does apply) must be registered on the reservation and a $200 pet damage deposit will be authorized on the day of arrival. This is a pre-authorization hold that will automatically release after a few days. If it is apparent that you have an unregistered pet or unregistered guest staying in the rental property, you will be charged $250.00 additional and/or asked to leave with no refunds. Your occupying the rental property acknowledges that you agree to pay these additional charges, all charges of collecting these charges, and damages beyond normal wear and tear including candle wax and/or drinks spilled on bedspreads, furniture, or carpets, etc.
PARKING: All of the rental properties have a minimum of two parking spaces. Some of the larger homes offer more spaces.
SMOKING: All of the rental properties and motel rooms are non-smoking including vape pens, e-cigarettes and marijuana. Smoking is allowed outside only. If evidence is found during your stay or after your departure that someone from your party was smoking inside the property, your credit card will be charged an additional $250.00 for professional carpet, upholstery, and drapery cleaning. When smoking outside, do not throw your cigarette butts on the ground. You will be charged an additional $50 if we have to clean your cigarette butts from the ground.
OUTSIDE FIRES: Outside fire are not allowed for any reason with the exception of the properties with outside fire pits. If evidence is found during your stay or after your departure that someone from your party had an outside fire, your credit card will be charged an additional $250 for clean up and fines levied by the Fire Department.
PEST CONTROL: A pest control technician arrives the second Thursday of every month to perform pest control services.
Your occupying the rental property or room acknowledges that you agree to pay these additional charges.
DIRECTIONS TO HOLIDAY ISLAND MAIN ENTRANCE
From the East and the South (Eureka Springs): Take Hwy 23 North off of Hwy 62. The old train station is the last thing in town. When you pass it you are in the country. The Holiday Island Main entrance (Holiday Island Drive) will be 4.5 miles north of the train station on the left.
From the North: Head towards Eureka Springs. When you cross the MO/AR state line you should be on Hwy P in Missouri and Hwy 23 in Arkansas. Go approximately 5 miles south of the AR/MO border on Hwy 23 until you come to the Holiday Island Shopping Center. The Holiday Island Main entrance (Holiday Island Drive) will be on the right.
From the West: Follow Hwy 62 East towards Eureka Springs. Turn LEFT onto Hwy 23 North. The old train station is the last thing in town. When you pass it you are in the country. The Holiday Island Main entrance (Holiday Island Drive) will be 4.5 miles north of the train station on the left.

The condo at Holiday Island was perfect for our stay. Not only was the home spacious with beautiful views, but the location was great, with close proximity to Eureka Springs. We traveled with friends and 2 dogs and we never felt crowded or cramped in the space. I had seen in many reviews that some had trouble with the hot tub, but it was up and running perfectly while we were there, and we were able to enjoy a crisp fall evening on the deck.
I know mattress firmness is a personal preference, but if there was a con for me, it’s that the beds were a little too hard and uncomfortable. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and we hope to be back soon!

The view from the windows in this condo is absolutely breathtaking! So beautiful! You can see for miles from the deck off the master bedroom bedroom upstairs. It is so spacious, there is enough room for a large family. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, too. This condo is just a few minutes away from Eureka Springs. We loved every minute of our stay and we will be back! Thank you for a wonderful visit.

We came to the area for a family reunion in Eureka Springs and chose this place because of the size, price and proximity to our hosting family’s home. It was perfect. We had plenty of space and we were even able to cook a complete family dinner here while only having to purchase a couple of sheet pans, which we donated to the condo. Many of our relatives were so impressed with our Airbnb they have asked for the link. We wouldn’t hesitate to book this place again when we come back.
We could not figure out the hot tub but the host sent a maintenance person by the morning after we asked for assistance with it and it was up and running for the rest of our stay.
THE VIEW IS FABULOUS! Sitting in the hot tub watching the sunset after a long day of mountain adventures was awesome! 49B Leatherwood definitely gave us more bang for our buck than a couple of hotel rooms would have. Four adults had plenty of space to relax and spread out in this space.
We took our bikes, and didn't ride them because the roads are very steep all around. We could have driven them elsewhere to ride them but did not do so. I cannot imagine riding on this roads!
If I were going again, I would take my own cookware, at least baking sheet and skillet(s). They have a lot of cookware there, but most of it has been "rode hard and put up wet!" There were plenty of utensils available and the fridge was empty and clean. There was a new roll of paper towels and a full bottle of dish soap, along with 2 hand towels and 2 washcloths. I found myself wanting more cleaning cloths, but just washed the ones there a couple of times. (I cooked most meals there.)
Did I mention the VIEW?
Master bath is HUGE and both baths were very clean. There were plenty of towels. You will need to bring your shampoo and the like. They did provide a few mini bars of soap. The apartment sized washer and dryer are in this bathroom, but that is fine because there is plenty of room for it there. They provided laundry powder, but we brought our own b/c our family need the free/clear stuff. It took me a while to find the lint screen - look straight in the dryer and pull out that egg-shaped thing in the back!
Oh yeah, the VIEW!
My family truly enjoyed this condo and would recommend to friends. It was a great value for us! If you are there on a Sunday, there are several churches in the immediate area. We visited Holiday Island Baptist Church just up the hill and the folks there were very welcoming!
The Crisp Family
The house was very comfortable and the location was great. I had read a review in Dec that said the hot tub wasn’t working so I specified when I rented that we chose this house only because of the hot tub, I could have gotten a nicer house for the same price, and I asked to be notified if the hot tub wouldn’t be working. I messaged a few days before we arrived to double check and was told the hot tub was working. We arrived and the water was ice cold, they did send someone out the next morning to work on it but it never heated up and couldn’t be used while we were there. We did have a nice time but it put a big damper on our family weekend.
Awesome place! beautiful view and everything you need is there
Very spacious and clean. Has a great homey feel and very pretty view. The Hot Tub was having some issues but the company sent a someone around to check it and it had worked itself out by then. If you're wanting the hot tub specifically, make sure you check it first thing when you arrive. We are not hot tub savvy so it took a bit to figure out. And the messaging isn't monitored after 5 PM on Friday.They did respond via DM the next morning. No one responded to the emergency number provided. It wasn't truly an emergency, just slightly inconvenient that it would not heat. Overall it's a great place. Beds were comfy and the heat was excellent in the house. We were warm and cozy. There was a snow a couple days prior to our arrival and the parking area, outside stairs and deck had been shoveled and salted. They even offered us the opportunity to change our reservation due to the road conditions but we declined. We had a great time.
We picked this place for one reason: the hot tub. Unfortunately, it wasn’t working that weekend. They refunded us part of our fees, and other than that, it was a great stay. Very open layout and big windows with plenty of great views. Would stay here again.
The location of this duplex was great, it was in a very quiet and secluded neighborhood with a beautiful view. The accommodations were spacious with all of the comforts and conveniences of home. I would stay here again in the future and would recommend it to anyone staying in the Eureka Springs area.
